The Lee County 4H "History Seekers" hosted a "Back in Time" dinner event on December 9th, 2017 to benefit the Lee County Historical Society.  The 4H "History Seekers" provided for guests an evening of historically-accurate dining and entertainment (mid 1800s to early 1900s) within the preserved buildings of Pioneer Park.  All participants were in costume, the dinner was one typical of the season and era, the entertainment involved 4H club members partnered with community leaders and educators performing skits, choral pieces and band performances.

This celebration is endorsed by the Alabama Lee County 200 Bicentennial as a recommended event and will serve to teach, inspire, and entertain all participants involved.  The event is sponsored by the The Caroline Marshall Draughon Center for the Arts & Humanities and supported by The Lee County Master Gardeners.
