The annual Syrup Sopping Festival sponsored by the Lee County Historical Society is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025 at Pioneer Park in downtown Loachapoka, Alabama. The scheduled rain date is Sunday, Oct. 26th.
Last year, we had over 110 arts and crafts, food, and other assorted vendors and a crowd that was estimated to be around 10,000 people. This year’s festival is expected to be even better than last year as we have already started accepting vendor applications and scheduling programs for the event.
If you are interested in being a vendor for this coming year, please click on the Vendor Application link for the application form. While completing the vendor application, you will need to refer to Vendor Space Maps to check out vendor spaces and to make space requests. There are two vendor maps which are titled North Side Map and South Side Map. You will want to look at both maps. Last year’s vendors have been given until May 18, to register and reserve the same locations as last year. Starting on May 19 th , all remaining vendor spaces will be assigned on a first paid, first reserved basis. Ultimately, we reserve the right to make vendor space assignments based on what we feel will work best for you and to help with crowd flow.
To register, you may do one of the following:
Complete the online application form and pay at that time with a credit card - or -print the vendor application from the website and mail it to the address listed on the application form along with payment in the form of a check or include your credit card information on the form and we will process it for you.
Once we receive your application form and payment, we will acknowledge receipt through email, letting you know of your exact vendor location. Sometime in mid-September, we will email you again with detailed festival information.
If you have any questions, please contact Doyle Keasal, the vendor coordinator at 334-750-6735 or email him at [email protected].
