"Back In Time" Dinner hosted by 4H History Seekers

The Lee County 4H "History Seekers" are excited to host a "Back in Time" dinner event on December 9th, 2017 from 5 to 8pm to benefit the Lee County Historical Society.  The 4H "History Seekers" will provide for guests an evening of historically-accurate dining and entertainment (mid 1800s to early 1900s) within the preserved buildings of Pioneer Park.  All participants will be in costume, the dinner will be one typical of the season and era, the entertainment will involve 4H club members partnered with community leaders and educators performing skits, choral pieces and band performances.

This celebration is endorsed by the Alabama Lee County 200 Bicentennial as a recommended event and will serve to teach, inspire, and entertain all participants involved.  The event is sponsored by the The Caroline Marshall Draughon Center for the Arts & Humanities and supported by The Lee County Master Gardeners.

Tickets go on sale October 1, 2017 and can be purchased for $50. Payments will be in the form of a donation to The Lee County Historical Society. This fee includes appetizers and beverages prior to dinner, a historically-accurate three course meal, and engaging, educational entertainment within the buildings of Pioneer Park.
